What types of photography services do you offer?
Weddings and engagements are dear to our hearts. However, we are open to capturing any kind of love story and offer a wide variety of lifestyle session options and also coverage for commercial events. Our hearts are to authentically communicate your vision and serve you in a way that is rooted in love.
How do I book a photography session with your team?
Booking a photography session or consultation call is easy. Simply reach out to us through our website by filling out the contact form.
From there on we will communicate final costing of which we will require 50% deposit to secure your date.
Can we choose the location for our photo shoot?
How long does a typical photo session last?
Weddings can range from anywhere between 6 - 10hrs. I also make provisions for smaller elopement style weddings that might require less coverage.
Smaller lifestyle sessions range between 1 - 4 hrs depending on what kind of photo session it is and what you desire to be covered on the day.
It's so important to have your photographer apart of your planning process, that way everything can be mapped out in the confines of the time you booked your photographer for.

How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?
Weddings:
The post wedding hype is a real thing! Everyone is waiting in eager anticipation to get a glimpse of the magical memories and moments captured.Therefore we prioritise sending a preview gallery within 48hrs - 1 week after your wedding day. 4-6 after that we will send you the final gallery.
Lifestyle sessions:
Anything between 3 - 7 working days.
This might vary during busy seasons such as November - January.
What happens if the weather is unfavorable on the day of an outdoor shoot?
I always make sure to keep an eye on my weather app especially when shooting in Cape Town as the wind can become quite unpleasant.
Keeping a back up location as a contingency is always a priority. However, if the weather conditions are unbearable then I am always willing and flexible to reschedule based on availability.
Do you provide video services?
Rooted Photography consists of a team of creatives that can serve all your needs for whatever session you are looking to secure. In hindsight, we do offer combined photo and video options.

Travel costs to capture my session?
We are located a little outside the heart of the western cape in a town called Gordons Bay. However, we are open to travelling anywhere both nationally and internationally. The first 100km outside Gordons Bay is FREE, thereafter R8 will be charged per km. If travel exceeds 200km, additional travel costs will be communicated and calculated into final invoice. We also provide inclusive packages for international travel.
